Suicide has been one of the major issues going on today. It is as if more and more people are resorting to suicide because they feel like the world will be a better place without them. That is far from the truth and unfortunately some never had the chance to realize how important their life really was. The numbers for suicide are only going up, especially around the holidays. Even though the holidays are now over, that doesn’t mean the numbers will decrease.

Social pressure can be beneficial when groups are pushing one another to be their very best self, or it can bring about feelings of inadequacy, mental instability, lowered self-esteem, leading to anxiety and depression. Luckily, there's a way out.

HOW CAN ONE OVERCOME SOCIAL PRESSURE IN THE NEW YEAR?

Social media has always been the go to place to escape from the world or to make your mark on the world. It's used to build up businesses and unfortunately sometimes used to discourage one another simply yourself. I want to touch on how social media goes hand in hand with identity crisis.
